Playground to Podium

The 2012 Paralympic Games provided British athletes with an opportunity to build on the success of the Paralympic movement over last 20 years, as well as providing a framework for young people living with a disability, giving them opportunities to participate and excel in sport for years to come.

The Playground to Podium programme aims to identify disabled athletes who have the potential to develop through a national governing body player pathway and onto the Paralympic level for the sports that are in the programme.
