Accentuate is an ambitious transformational programme made up of 15 projects.  It ensures disabled people have the potential to be the leaders of tomorrow, in whatever field you choose, as well as striving to create a permanent change in the way disability is viewed by society.

Playground to Podium

The 2012 Paralympic Games provided British athletes with an opportunity to build on the success of the Paralympic movement over last 20 years, as well as providing a framework for young people living with a disability, giving them opportunities to participate and excel in sport for years to come.

The Playground to Podium programme aims to identify disabled athletes who have the potential to develop through a national governing body player pathway and onto the Paralympic level for the sports that are in the programme.
